Welcome! My name is Martha McCord and I am a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT) in the state of California. I have studied spiritual foundations of Human Development in Prescott, Arizona as well as Depth Psychology and expressive art therapy in San Francisco. Although my masters degree emphasized Jungian and Depth Psychology I thrived in a more practical clinical setting helping everyday people develop the tools they needed to not only survive but thrive in this challenging and beautiful world. I have over 15 years of experience serving the people in a myriad of settings including a range of diversity from private practice to family reunification within the parole system, the foster care system, school settings, and personal growth seminars . It is an honor and a privilege when someone shares their thought process and life experience with me. Over the years I have developed a unique style that combines Cognitive Behavioral techniques, practical and solution oriented therapy, with an opportunity to look deeper within one's Self if the desire is there. I truly believe that within every crises is an opportunity for personal growth and transformation.
I have also provided clinical supervision to post-graduate psychotherapy interns in finding their voice and career path. It is my pleasure to serve and I look forward to working with you!
