About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia with over 9 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, self-esteem, and anger management. I also helped many people who have experienced domestic or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, career counseling, psychodynamic, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. The first step to a more fulfilling and happier life is the courage to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

My practice hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday 6:30pm-7:30pm and 8:30a m - 2:30pm Saturdays. I generally can respond at least once per morning and once per evening, sometimes more! You can also book a live session with me ahead of time. Please remember that BetterHelp (or sister site!) is not appropriate if you are in crisis or in immediate need of support. In crisis situations, please call 911 or local emergency services. You can also call 1-800-273-TALK (8255) to talk to someone right away!”

I look forward to working with you!

Ms. Cole has been extremely helpful with my self healing journey. She has given me practical ways to help myself through hard moments. She’s encouraged me and she’s helped me address and move forward with my grief. I’ve come to some crucial realizations while working with her over the last couple of months about some of the relationships in my life and I feel better equipped to deal with them now and I’m extremely grateful.

Mary was so helpful to me, I really felt like I was being listened to and she gave me some very good strategies to use when I need them. She gave me lots of interesting things to think about it, and I would definitely recommend her if you want someone who will listen to you and really try to hear and understand what you are saying, and give you helpful tactics and strategies for anything you may need them for.
