About Me
Sadness, worry, fear and loneliness… have any of these taken root in your life? Possibly, you arrived here grieving the death of a loved one. Maybe, you have recently undergone a change that has you questioning your life’s purpose and meaning. Perhaps, you have experienced: loss of safety, loss of trust, loss of personal power or loss of connection. Is there something here that speaks to you about your life right now? Seeking support is your first positive step towards relief and healing.
Welcome, I'm a California licensed marriage and family therapist (MA, LMFT) supporting those experiencing grief, loss, and change. As a therapist, I believe in the power of relationship and connection to help you learn more about yourself, increase feelings of self-worth and well-being, and strengthen your capacity for change and action. I provide clients with a safe and nurturing space where you can be heard, understood, and empowered to live your life.
I recognize that you are the expert on your life and have what it takes for growth and change. I will meet you where you are and take a genuine interest in you and your story. Because of loss, pain or death you may be seeking new meaning and purpose in your life. I will hold space and provide encouragement as you recreate yourself. Let’s find and focus upon your personal strengths and resilience and think about ways of using them in your unique journey. You also may be ready to spread your wings and try something new. Through examining your connections and disconnections in past and present relationships, you may rebuild trust in yourself and others and increase your sense of belonging for a more joyful and satisfying life.
While providing grief support to individuals and groups at St. Joseph Memorial Hospice, I witnessed the distinctive ways in which we all navigate life's challenges, especially when confronted with illness, trauma and death. I have assisted people of all ages, from five to ninety-five, with a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, life transitions and relationship concerns.
Whatever you are going through right now, please know that you do not need to do it alone. I look forward to meeting with you and accompanying you on your journey!

Mary is an amazing therapist who has helped me process so many things
Mary has been a joy to work with. She is patient, understanding, and stays with me in the moment. She is a great listener, and validates what I have said is happening for me, which helps me get grounded and work through my problems more easily.
Mary is a caring and thoughtful therapist. Communication was easy and the work was good. I would highly recommend her.
