About me

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in Virginia. I have been a social worker for 25 years. Most of my work experience has been with women and children, but also families of diverse compositions and backgrounds. I have worked in adoption agencies (with both birth parents and adoptive parents); a prenatal clinic; a domestic violence shelter; an elementary school; and in a community center's trauma recovery program. I have worked mostly in the DC metro area, with the exception of three years at a women's shelter in Honduras and three years in Minneapolis.

I think all of us humans have emotional, mental, and/or social struggles, and sometimes we need help to navigate those. It isn't easy to seek that help, because we feel we'll be judged. I am a non-judgemental listener who will work to earn your trust. Together, we can work toward your goals. I look forward to meeting you!
