I am a mental health counselor licensed in Ohio and Kentucky with 5 years experience working with clients with a wide range of needs including, depression, anxiety, substance use problems and posttraumatic stress disorder. My counseling style is very client centered. I work with each client individually to create goals for better mental health tailored to them. I focus on engaging clients in Positive Psychology, helping each one discover their own strengths to help them overcome their struggles. I believe in the power of the individual to overcome obstacles and strongly believe that better mental health begins with finding positives in every day life.
I understand how difficult it is to take the first step to a better future, especially when you feel lost or broken down. It is possible to find the light in darkness and I am here to help you find it when you are ready to move forward.
I am excited to help you become the best you you can be.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Mary Wring. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I have a strong bond with Mary. She’s a great therapist and is always there for me. It’s a real bonus that she’s a Christian which has helped me considerably. She is a lovely person
Mary is a great therapist!
Mary has helped me work through so much in such a short time. Her process allows me to work through issues and not getting stuck in them. She really uncovers my feelings. I really appreciate Mary!
Mary is a great therapist for me. I find it hard to smoothly communicate with people while having a productive conversation; and thats never an issue in sessions with her. She is a great help with validating issues, and approaching them healthily. As well as helping me be more insightful on what’s happening in my head. 10/10
Mary is great. She listens and understands. I’d recommend her to anyone.
Mary does a great job of listening and offering solid advice and asking questions. She brings good energy to sessions and is engaging.
I truly feel that Mary cares. She checks up on me and gives me ideas on ways to cope. I never feel judged even when I slip. Mary has helped me tremendously and I will be forever grateful.
She's really nice and relatable . She made me understand how important it is to try to put myself first and not always try to please others . I totally recommend her
I am so fortunate to have found Mary. She is practical, relatable and has provided me with a variety of tips and advise that I now use to help manage my stress and anxiety.
Mary is a great listener and provides great advice for day to day situations.
Mary is one of the easiest people to talk to, she has made me feel totally comfortable and never judged. She responds quickly, and I know I can reach out to her about anything. She helped give me ideas on how to calm myself down and focus my energy in a positive way!
Mary has been encouraging, supportive, and very understanding. Her compassion and sensitivity are enormous assets! Mary thinks out of the box, as well, offering suggestions that, while extremely beneficial, are not what I think of as typical for counseling. I actually enjoy our time even though initially I was anxious and dubious, she has been so kind and a huge help to me. Thank you, Mary!
Mary is wonderful. She helps me find ways to actively work through what I am feeling. She understands my personal faith and she is realistic! I really enjoy her tangible, faith-based approaches to real-life issues.
A bit impersonal. I understand that exercises she share with me may be helpful, but the fact that a worksheet was sent to me rather than her trying to make it personal and help in her own manner rather than simply trying to pawn me off onto some exercises I could have found online for free makes me think she's not taking this seriously
