Therapy is a process that guides you past barriers to life change. It can be difficult, because uncovering barriers requires a sense of vulnerability. So, be proud in being vulnerable and taking the first step to feeling better in your life!
I'm a licensed mental health counselor with 6 years of experience of healing others. I specialize in helping people change their relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. I believe that mindfulness is the liberation amidst pain. It's not a tool but a shift in the way you show up in life and your relationships. All it requires it openness and willingness to learn and integrate.
I have had clients tell me that I’m “human”. So, I approach my work with you the same way I would interact with anyone else in the world. I’m not a robot, which means I can laugh with you and make you feel at home even when you may feel at your lowest.
Sometimes I may take on a teacher role, but mostly I am here to support you without bias or judgement. I look at you as another human being, not someone who is inherently wrong, bad, or abnormal. As a teacher, I may assign readings to further your growth in between our conversations and while we talk, I am here to support you and help you understand the underpinnings of your thoughts.
I am happy to help you grow through life, not just go through life!

Grace is super kind, caring and compassionate. Always checking in on me. Supporting me during the rough and the good times in my life. I appreciate the opportunity I have with BetterHelp and Grace that allows me to write my concerns, questions and thoughts in the moment and Grace responds with productive and positive ways that help me focus on overcoming anything I am struggling with.
She has been very kind and has been helping me understand myself and deal with my feelings of anxiety and depression.
She is an amazing person, very helpful
She is amazing! She will dig deep into how you are doing and figuring out the best way to help you.
Grace is very attentive. She knows my problems and talks to me with empathy and compassion. She’s a great counselor.
Definitely knows what she's talking about. Attentive to detail and works with you to come up with a plan together, instead of just assuming that a specific course of action is going to work better for you than another, she will actually give you multiple suggestions and help you to decide.
She’s wonderful and so understanding.
Marygrace responds very quickly and asks very thoughtful questions to get to root causes. Very pleased.
I've only been with Marygrace for a few days but she already has made me feel better. She is very down to earth and makes you feel human, even if you feel like a shell from anxiety. I am excited to continue working with her.
