Matthew is a great person to talk to. His counseling style is something I’ve been looking for a long time. Also, I’m lucky he also counsels patients with LGBTQ/past trauma/PTSD issues. I’m grateful to have both Matthew and BetterHelp in my life
A fantastic, thoughtful person. He was great to work with.
Matthew Eubanks is a remarkable counselor. His kind and gentle approach is wonderful. He really listens and provides techniques to help when the session ends.
He’s been great.
Matthew is a gifted and experienced clinician. He knows the right questions to ask to help offer solutions and inspire change.
One of the realist people you’ll ever have a chance of talking with
Love working with Mathew, not only is he great therapist but he’s also quiet good at helping navigate the switch to therapy via technology and navigating those specific issues.
Matthew has been such a wonderful resource and sounding board while helping me work thorough my fear and anxiety. He's provided various methods on thought interruption and mindfulness. Very greatful for Matthew help while navigating a difficult time.
It's still new into our relationship but as of now I feel very open towards Matthew and am absolutely looking forward to our relationship progressing. He helps me see things in a different light and offers non judgemental advice. I am glad I was paired with him! He has made me feel like hes trustworthy in a world where that's rare for me. I appreciate that immensely.
I've been working with Matthew for a few weeks now and he is a breath of fresh air! He is so reassuring and really takes the time to listen to my concerns. He replies in a timely manner and I always look forward to his replies. He has helped me so much already and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.
Matthew and I just started speaking but he has already shown himself to be a knowledgeable and empathetic person, and attentive listen. I can already tell his pleasant demeanor and wisdom will bode well for me. I look forward to writing another positive review in the future when he and I have had more sessions!
Matthew is a great listener and offers advise that helps. He has a way of helping take you from hurt and hopeless to a at ease. I leave our sessions knowing you will get thru this struggle in life and whatever happens it will work out.
Very caring counselor, genuine and nice.
Matthew is a great person to talk with when you want to improve yourself and situation. Matthew really listened to my concerns and validated what I was feeling while giving suggestions on what I could do. I felt completely safe and open when talking to Matthew. I really appreciated they way that Matthew acknowledged my beliefs and asked me to let him know if anything came up that wouldnt be in line with what I believe. Overall, Matthew is an excellent therapist.
I would just like to say Matthew was an amazing counsellor for me. I suffer from Generalized Anxiety, Heath Anxiety and PTSD. I have had a lot of family losses in the past 7yrs and he was able to help me through them all. His counselling was very helpful to me and every time i finished reading a email it always helped me. I would recommend him to anyone suffering. He will help you immensely! He has so many ideas to make you think and get you through whatever is troubling you. Thank you for all your help!
I just want to say thank you because after just our first session I am already confident in Mathew and confident that we will work together to get me through my troubles
Matthew has been such a huge help for me. He is easy to talk to, has a sense of humour and is very knowledgeable. I can reach out to him any time and he replies in a timely manner. I can also discuss anything with him without fear of judgement. He not only listens but offers up valuable strategies to help me with whatever struggles I may be having. He is a huge support for me and I am so thankful that I found him. I hope to continue my journey of healing with him being only a click away.
I find Matthew's counseling very thorough and understanding. He has helped me learn a lot about not only myself, but the behaviour of others - I would definitely recommend him.
Matthew, is has a perfect balance of empathy and reasoning. During our sessions, I feel as though, he is not only listening but taking the time to feel my concerns and stresses. Always making sure he questions for clarification and always on point with how my struggles are affecting me. He is excellent at pointing out the positive factors to any situation which helps guide me to finding coping strategies or solutions to eliminate the stresses. He is truly a sincere, trustful, supportive, genuine person first with logic and reasoning, using his natural gifts to make a safe and relaxing atmosphere in the counselling sessions.
Matthew has been so kind and listens to all my issues and I know he genuinely wants to help better my mental health because he shows it in his responses.
Matthew is one of a kind. He is a generous and tender person, who you can count on to listen.
Tl;dr- He seems highly adaptable to his clients' needs and is very understing of my issues. He has helped me personally a ton, and I highly recommend taking him on.
So far Matthew has been a fantastic help. I appreciate that he works hard to understand my situation, and that he makes sure to adjust to how I best take critique/ information etc. For me personally, I almost like a journal that talks back, and so he has become that for me. He is, from what I can tell, a highly adaptable and understanding counsellor, and has been exactly what I need right now. Someone I can say anything to and he'll reply with his insight into whatever qualms I may pose to him.
Matthew has been amazing. He has helped me organize my thoughts, provided valuable reassurances, and recommended incredibly helpful resources. I have answers that I didn't even know I needed and he checks in regularly to see how I am doing. I am so glad I was matched with him.
Matthew is a great help and I would highly recommend this service. Online chat is also really helpful and productive.
Matthew has helped me open up and deal with issues that many other therapists have failed to even raise with me over many years. I feel like I'm taking better control of my life thanks to him. I'd recommend him without hesitation.
Matthew has been a great help to me, even for the short time in which we interacted. His conscientious and caring manner never ceased to amaze me and really helped me to feel supported through several tough months. It has been a very worthwhile experience and I would recommend Matthew to anybody.
Mathew is a champion of the principles of counseling; he's supportive and insightful, and readily explores each feeling while welcoming them all. I am truly grateful to have had him as my counselor and hope anyone who tries this can get what I got out of it!
I have to say, receiving counseling from Matthew Eubanks has really helped me realize a lot about myself. He is truly one-of-a-kind. He is very supportive, down-to-earth, genuine, kind, and has a good sense of humor. I highly recommend him!
Using an online platform for counseling has proved wonderful for my personality. Being able to pour out my heart and cry while in the privacy of my own living room has been amazingly freeing. Due to living outside the USA, I thought getting mental health care would be impossible. Being connected to Matthew Eubanks, through BetterHelp has been unexpected but encouraging. His ability to understand what I am saying through my tears and words has been amazing. He is professional, friendly and a great listener. I appreciate his honesty and response time.
I used Better Help for a week (which I would have kept if not for my financial situation) by using the free trial. I was matched up with Matthew Eubanks, a fantastic and helpful counselor. I have to say, it was an absolutely perfect match. First try, too. I was a little apprehensive at first, to be honest. But Matthew was such a friendly, non-judgmental, and positive type of guy, that fear soon blew away in the wind. It is obvious he has a passion for what he does, and it was immediately clear he cared for my well being from the start. He is so enthusiastic about helping others tackle their problems. This is a man who truly loves helping those in need. He was very considerate of my boundaries, yet was able to ask the perfect questions to get me to understand what exactly was upsetting me WITHOUT telling me himself (which, in the long run, sticks better than if someone just tells you their opinion). Not only was he positive (but not in an annoying way), he was funny. Humor goes a long way when you're down. It felt like I was talking to an old high school friend, but he retained the perfect amount of professionalism throughout the sessions. Like I said earlier, he is not in the least judgmental. He was very reassuring, understanding and patient with me. I was completely comfortable chatting with this perfect stranger about the woes of my life. And of course, he always provided a realistic, positive solution for every problem I threw at him. He is so full of insight and intelligence. It was a very empowering experience, even for just a week. It was the breath of fresh air I needed to pull out of what I thought might lead me into depression for a fourth time. My two regrets are that I couldn't continue with my Better Help account, and that this review took me so long to write. I wanted to make sure I included every important part. Thank you, Mr. Eubanks. You're a fantastic human being.
