About me

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with 18 years of professional work experience. I have worked with clients addressing a wide variety of concerns, including those related to stress and anxiety, LGBTQ+ identities, parenting, self-esteem, behavioral modification, and relationships. I believe that clients are best served by unconditional positive regard, open communication, compassionate reflection, and a recognition that they are the experts in their own experience. I also believe that the majority of positive change that comes as a result of therapy is due to the motivation, engagement, values, and efforts of the client. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life through social, emotional, and cognitive change. I humbled to have the opportunity to support and empower clients in that journey.
