About me

I am a licensed therapist with seven years of experience in helping clients who are dealing with problems related to stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, communication, family conflicts, motivation, emotional regulation, and purpose. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My goal is to make every person I work with feel valued, heard, and understood. Asking for help is not always easy and I am thankful that you have reached out!

I am able to adapt my therapeutic approach to fit the unique needs of each client within a counseling session. With that said, the two theoretical frameworks that I have the most experience utilizing are Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I believe that each person I am meeting with is the expert on themselves, their life, their background, and what they need; you know best what it’s like to be you. I will bring an empathetic approach to our time together, working with you to identify the things that may be causing issues and the specific solutions that could be helpful moving forward. I am confident that my clinical skills and ability to connect with people of all backgrounds will allow me to work with any client in whatever way best-addresses the unique needs that you present with.

I believe that each person's belief system plays an important role in their social, behavioral, and interpersonal functioning. I would love to talk to any of my clients about faith and how it impacts their daily lives, as I believe the Bible holds many helpful solutions to the struggles we all face. With that said, our time working together would be completely informed by the specific goals that you have and outcomes you would like to see. I would only integrating faith to the extent that you are comfortable with.

Mr. Rogers is professional, considerate, and very caring. I would highly recommend his services. The Better Help system has worked very well for me. My wife and I have already started to recommend it to friends and family.
