About me

I am licensed in North Carolina with 21 years of professional work experience. I specialize in helping clients with OCD and anxiety from a trauma-informed perspective. I believe we all have parts of ourselves that get in the way of being present, clear, calm, and living intentionally. There can be a massive gap between our values and functioning. The good news is that consistent, compassionate therapy can bring about an inner harmony and peace to all parts of you enabling you to be your best self. I draw from a variety of effective therapies that work together for healing and teach essential skills needed to gradually break free from anxiety cycles. My approach is grounded in compassion, attachment theory, family systems, IFS, CBT, ACT, ERP, & mindfulness-based stress reduction principles. In my private practice, Best Self Therapy & Wellness, I help my clients not just cope, but heal and thrive. You deserve peace. I hope you will take the first brave step. Please reach out if I can help.
