Therapy is not easy work. Besides the massive fortitude required to combat the stigma of mental health to initiate therapy itself, it then takes tremendous courage and strength to confront and overcome the challenges that brought you into therapy. No matter how you got here, I respect and admire you so much for making it this far in your journey.
I have had the privilege of guiding clients through their individualized transformation processes for a host of challenges including depression, anxiety/panic attacks, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, grief/loss, and trauma.
My counseling style is direct and down-to-earth. I believe in meeting my clients where they are at on their journeys with special care and sensitivity to their specific needs. My counseling approach combines various interventions to include lifestyle modification, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and solution-focused counseling. Clients best suited to my approach are clients who are ready to break out of their ruts and launch into the next steps in their change process.
Therapy is not a spectator sport. It requires your active participation in the therapeutic process if you want to see substantial changes manifest in your life. Therapy challenges us - not others- to make the changes necessary to enhance our quality of life. When you are ready to take a step in your therapeutic journey, I will be here to empower you to take the next step towards your full potential.

Mavish Khan is absolutely the best therapist I have ever had and have enjoyed my experience so far with her. She has helped me through what I want to achieve and has given me amazing advise and worksheets to complete to help understand ways to build a better and healthier response. I will definitely go back to her when I do return and highly recommend my friends to have her as their therapist as she just excellent in everything she does
I really love how Mavis helps me. She is very conscious of my issues. I feel like I personally know her because of this. Also feel very comfortable talking with her.
