About me

With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, I utilize my knowledge and experience to help people navigate the complexities of seeking treatment. Whether from my work in the community as a case manager, an assessment specialist, or as therapist, I help to find the most accessible and effective ways to help people succeed in reaching their goals.

Born and raised in the Texas border city of El Paso, I have a personal understanding of the cultural complexities found within Latino populations and am fluent in English and Spanish. After getting my Psychology degree from The University of Texas, I continued my career helping people with mental health services. I went on to get my Master’s in Social Work from University of Houston. As a licensed Social Worker, I worked as a mental health hospital intake specialist and later became the adolescent therapist for their partial outpatient programs.

I have committed my career to effectively serve people from all walks of life. No matter a person’s personal, spiritual, or social beliefs, or whether a person’s values are traditional or non-conforming; regardless of gender, race, sexuality or economic background, I strive for all to receive the best treatment. I value myself as a compassionate, innovative and creative therapist who helps people feel supported in their most vulnerable times. I adopt a dynamic person-centered approach so that each person may find success at their own pace.

Whether a person is struggling with depression, anxiety, or maintaining interpersonal relationships, together with evidence-based, brief targeted interventions we can help you reach your personal goals. Such treatment include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), Narrative therapy, and Psychodynamic psychotherapy to name a few. I believe in treating people first, and less so a diagnosis or a label. My empathy for a person’s unique experiences aim to bring comfort no matter the circumstances.

Mr. Arzola has been professional and helpful. I’ve been able to see my situations in different lights, and in doing so I’ve been able to navigate through them a bit easier. His ability to be reached at all times in addition to his calm approach makes me feel very supported.
