About me

Difficult experiences are something that we as humans all go through as we progress through life. Depression, severe stress, anxiety, life transitions, career struggles, relational issues, divorce, domestic abuse, grief/loss, and trauma are just a few of life’s blows that come at us at any given time. If managing these life situations are too daunting, consider seeking counseling services.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience as a social work professional. I specialize in providing individual and family counseling services with having worked with populations such as: military families and veterans, domestic violence survivors, adolescent populations in their school setting, hospice patients and their families as a bereavement counselor.

When working with clients, I like to utilize a non-judgmental approach and work to meet clients where they are in their life’s journey. In today’s society where there are messages of how we should look, how we should live or what success looks like, I off a safe place for my clients to discover their authentic self through the use of theocratical approaches, talk therapy and educational materials.

McKenzie helped me through a very difficult situation in my marriage. She provided ample help and support, and still checks in on me.
I would recommend her to anyone needing to talk.

McKenzie has been extremely helpful in guiding me along my ongoing journey. She listens and then shares ideas that I can incorporate into my life to help with all of my relationships as well as reminding me to fill my cup so it overflows onto my family.

I've been seeing McKenzie for over a year now and can honestly say she is the most (if not the only) productive, understanding, and helpful therapist I've ever worked with. She has been invaluable to my mental health and overall well-being during our time together, and I feel safe and confident telling her anything.

McKenzie is wonderful, wise, steady, and kind. I was supported by her during some really intense personal transitions and I always left our sessions feel clear, capable, relaxed, and ready for what was next. I can't recommend her enough if you are lucky enough to work with her!

McKenzie has been a great help to me. She helped me to realize what I needed to work on, and work through to get to a better place. Her help went beyond our calls, as she sent me tools in between our sessions to keep me focused on how to help myself. I would strongly recommend McKenzie, she has been amazing!

Mackenzie has been great. I have found our sessions to be extremely helpful and look forward to our next sessions. She listens carefully and frequently asks to revisit things I have said in conversation to understand better or get more information on a topic I might have otherwise overlooked as important. I have recommended better help to family and look forward to continuing!
