My name is Meagan, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin. I believe that therapy can be helpful throughout many transitions, challenges and life events. Whether you’re seeking therapy for the first time or returning to therapy after some time away, I believe that you can make the changes you seek in life and I welcome the opportunity to work with you to make change happen. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions and women's issues.
My counseling approach focuses on individual strengths and I consider each client as a whole person. As we begin to identify both short and long term goals, I will tailor my counseling approach to your needs and believe it is important for you to feel empowered throughout the counseling process. I typically incorporate a combination of Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my practice. My clients find that I am compassionate, easy to talk to, open-minded and focused on finding short and long term solutions.
I am a firm believer in the importance of self care, and do my best to practice what I preach. I strive for balance in my life outside of my social work practice. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, running, hiking, yoga, reading, photography (taking pictures with my iPhone!) and finding new ways to make my daughters laugh. I look forward to the opportunity to meet and work with you.

In the short time I've been working with Meagan, I have been very pleased. Her responses are quick, and her advice so far has been very helpful.
Meagan is my second BetterHelp counselor and I have found her to be very helpful and responsive to my needs. Even when I haven't been as communicative or too busy, Meagan makes sure to check in with me regularly and assure me that she is there and available when I need anything. She has always had great advice and I would definitely recommend her!
It was great to work with Meagan. She responds in a timely manner with thoughtful responses and no judgement. She asked important questions and provided helpful worksheets to help guide my thinking and/or decisions. I've learned a lot about the way I think and will continue to use her guidance and advice to keep working through things.
Meagan is very helpful and responds in a timely matter to messages with a thoughtful response. After sessions, I'm left feeling satisfied. She has said things that have helped me look at my problems in a whole new light.
Meg has been wonderful to work with, easy to talk to, and understands what I need.
Meagan's counseling has been so helpful. Her responses are always prompt. She responds to the concerns I raise, and hears what I'm saying. She is not judgmental at all. She offers thoughts and suggestions that give me direction without pressure.
It was so good to have someone to share with. It's tough to find the courage to begin but very worth it.
I think Meagan is a great counselor and I’ve tried many but she takes the time to understand what I have to say and doesn’t make me feel judged when I voice my mind to her. She helps me a lot and gives me many different scenarios and options to help me choose good paths for me
