About Me
Hi there! My name is Meaghan and I'm so glad that you've joined me in this space. I come from a pretty diverse background of clientele, working anywhere from community mental health facilities to within the secure bounds of state penitentiaries. I tend to use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)approach in my work, so there will be a lot of discussions about how our thoughts, beliefs, and perspectives influence our feelings and behavior. I'm big on relationships, exploring that complex point at which our paths cross with another. I want you to teach me about your strengths right along with your hurdles, so we can close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.
Just a little bit about me! We are a military family, often traveling across the country, with two littles in tow. Being a wife, mom, and working full-time keeps me pretty busy, but I spend some time investing in me with exercise, cooking, books, and time with friends. If there's an adventure, count me in! I'm an open book, so if there are questions, comments, feedback, I am happy to make adjustments.
I really think that everyone has the capacity to change, grow, and make transformations to their life. The challenge is often finding the right person to connect with in order to inspire new ideas, demonstrate a different perspective, and ultimately assist in the development of new coping skills. I enjoy being the person that can create inspiration in a world where inspiration can often feel limited. Just as I enjoy helping others find new ways of living, I also like trying new ideas, thoughts, or perspectives that often come from those that I enjoy helping. We can learn, grow, and change together.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Meaghan Rice. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Dr. Rice is so kind and really listens. I have learned so much from her and so grateful.
Dr. Rice has been great. This has been a very difficult time for me where I’ve questioned the difficult decisions I’ve had to make and it was so reassuring to hear someone say I did the best I could. I really think she’s been one of the main reasons I haven’t fallen apart lately.
Dr.Rice has been such a blessing. She is an incredible listener with the most thoughtful responses. She offers great advice and I take what she says to heart. I truly believe she has my best interest and appreciate her quick responses.
