About me

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with over 5 years experience, working in various settings, such as outpatient centers, residential facilities, private practice, and school systems. I have always been an understanding and empathic person, with an interest in the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of others. I believe all people do the best they can with what they have. It is these personality traits that have led me to the profession of counseling, and this is demonstrated in my clinical practice.

I use various modalities of thought and intervention, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems theory, Person-centered therapy, and Mindfulness. These principles of thought provide the framework of my approach to therapy, but it is the characteristics of myself mentioned earlier that truly guide my interactions.

If you are looking for someone to truly hear you, understand issues from your point of view, and give practical advice and suggestions to meet a personal goal, I am a therapist that can help you. Please reach out when you are tired of dealing alone.
