About Me
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington State with 5 years experience in the mental health field. I hold a Master in Social Work from the University of Washington and a Master in Science in Experimental Psychology from Central Washington University. My pronouns are she/they.
Most recently, I have been working with clients who have significant challenges relating to Autism, Schizophrenia, or with personality disorders, in addition to helping those who are struggling with depression and/or anxiety. I also have experience working with people in the perinatal population.
My therapy style tends to be straight forward and honest. I utilize a client-centered approach, prioritizing what you want to work on and how you view successful counseling. I am certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, but acknowledge that this approach does not work for everyone. I am also versed in solution-focused and narrative approaches.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Megan Gillman. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Megan has been and incredible help to me. I have learned so much about myself and better coping strategies. She is kind, honest, and open. Highly recommend.
Megan has improved my quality of life so much. I have been seeing her for five months and everyone in my life has said they have seen the difference that therapy has made. Megan is so wonderful. She is so kind, always listens and gives me the best advice. I truly appreciate that in my sessions she remembers little details, it makes a huge difference. I look forward to my weekly sessions with her and cannot express how grateful I am to her for the impact she has made.
Megan has been a great support for me. This has been the most positive therapeutic experience I've had. Megan listens to my concerns, validates my feelings, and helps me identify strategies for managing personal and professional stress and navigating some difficult relationship. She has been extremely helpful during a difficult time in my personal and professional life, allowing space for me to verbally process the challenges I'm navigating and my responses to them.
Megan is great and I’m glad I found her
This helped me. I appreciate better help and Megan. Thank you for making this a possibility. I really needed this experience and I would recommend.
