About me

Welcome to your journey to healing! My name is Megan Harrington and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have over 7 years of experience in the social work field. I have worked with clients dealing with diverse situations from anxiety and depression to trauma and abuse. I have a focus on chronic medical conditions, cancer diagnosis and coping, women's health, fertility issues, miscarriage, new parent adjustment, and parenting.

I received my master’s degree in social work from the University of Central Florida and my bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of South Florida. One of my greatest passions is helping others and has been since I can remember. I chose social work as a career field, as I genuinely believe that there is no greater calling than helping a fellow human being. There is nothing better than seeing someone reach a desired goal.

This is your journey and I am here to help you. I utilize several different approaches in working with clients but tailor my approach to meet the client’s needs. This is your life and your story. I am here to help, listen, and support you.

I applaud you for seeking help, as this is a big first step in the healing process. I look forward to our work together.
