Megan Kaliff, LCSW
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Connecticut with seven years experience working with individuals and families. I work with clients who are affected by trauma, attachment issues, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, and young adult issues. I have a specialty with working with individuals impacted by trauma, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, and neglect and am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT).
I obtained an undergraduate degree in Social Work at Central Connecticut State University and a master's degree in Social Work at Fordham University.
My therapy style is client-centered and I believe that the most important part of therapy is the therapeutic alliance created between the client and the therapist. My hope is to empower my clients to gain skills and increase their intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships to manage life's challenges. Beginning therapy takes courage and is not always easy, but it can be very helpful in living a more fulfilling life. I look forward to working with you!
