Do you feel overwhelmed and out of control? Are you second-guessing every decision you make? Have you tried reaching out to friends and family who just don't understand what you're going through? If this sounds like you, then I'd like to say "congratulations", you've come to the right place.
My name is Megan, and I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the great state of New York. I obtained my master's degree from Baruch College in 2015. I have 4 years of counseling experience primarily in outpatient substance abuse and managed care settings working with clients not only struggling with addiction but depression, anxiety, relationship issues, mood disorders and trauma. I've worked with clients from all works of life including veterans, adolescents, senior citizens and those who identify as LGBTQ+.
My goal as a therapist is to "meet you where you're at". In other words, I like to ensure that we're on the same page when it comes to your treatment goals and what you'd like to gain from therapy. I do this using various therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Solution-focused therapy. I take a collaborative approach when it comes to working with clients, and I will ask for your feedback regarding the work we do together to make sure your needs are being met.
Thank you so much for allowing me to come on your journey of self-discovery and empowerment. I look forward to working with you!

Megan has been so incredibly helpful in my life. She takes on the role of counselor when I need advice and friend when I need to vent. I'm so grateful for having her. She's helped me cope with internal and external stressors, get through what was arguably the hardest point in my life with better quality of life and mental health than many other points in my life, and support me through all the ups and downs of life. She's quick to respond and provides insight at times I don't even know I need it. I'd recommend her to anyone!
Megan is a great therapist.
Megan is very nice and supportive. She is also very young and not a parent, and though I feel she is supporting me and my problems with my adult son, my adult son is her about her age. Maybe that’s a good thing though because she bring that “millennial” point of view to the table. She is nice and easy to talk to.
My experience with Megan has been very positive. She's very respectful and a great listener!
