About me

I believe that everyone's struggle deserves to be heard and healed. My passion is in helping those who have experienced trauma or are experiencing other emotional difficulties find the root of their struggles so that together we can begin the journey toward discovering your resilience and healing. When we are in the depths of struggle it is often hard to see past the darkness and the pain, but I strive to walk alongside my clients on their path to healing--this is not a journey you have to do alone.

My career was inspired by my own journey through trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. For years I suffered and there seemed to be no one willing or able to help me find relief. From a place of helplessness and hopelessness I decided that, once I found my way to my own healing, I would work to help others never have to experience the desperation I had. After years of work and progress, I am able to say that recovery is possible. I did a three year Master's program, two years of supervision for my licensure, and have been working for four years in the field of therapy, and every day I make sure stories are heard.

YOU are worth being heard, too.

I am suffering both physically and mentally, seeing so many doctors and I feel that no one is actually helping me get better other than Megan. In just one month, it is her counseling that is helping me start to function and start living a life again. I wish we could talk every day.

I am so grateful that I have found Meg here on Better Help. I came to this online therapeutic platform to get help with my depression, addiction and trauma issues. Already in the short time that Megan and I have work together she has helped me to see things in a new perspective. I also believe that she has a unique ability to be intuitively able to give the right advice at the right time. Meg is very supportive, empathetic and compassionate. I cannot recommend her enough and you will not be disappointed if you choose to work with her.
