About me

I have been working as a family therapist for fifteen years. I received a Master's Degree in 2007 and a Doctorate in 2010, and I have been training therapists for the last 10 years. I have extensive training and experience with couples, families, and individuals. I believe that, for the most part, people try the best that they can to live good lives, but they get stuck when confronted with the stresses of daily life, past trauma, relationships, and medical and mental health problems. I take a holistic view of healing, and encourage my clients to make small changes in their lives outside of therapy while we work on their unproductive beliefs and thoughts. These changes can include healthier physical living, connection to spirituality, or changes in their relationships with family, friends, and colleagues. I believe that it is in our relationships with other people that we grow to our full potential, and that starts with the relationships I build with my clients.
