People today have an overwhelming burden trying to balance family, work, finances, and not to mention the unexpected stressful events that life throws their way. As I a licensed counselor, my goal is to help my clients learn more positive strategies to cope with these challenges. My work with clients often consists in helping them identify existing, often unrecognized, strengths within each client, while cultivating self-compassion. Even more, I hope to help my clients rediscover peace and joy and learn strategies to maintain this.
My specialty areas include Depression, Anxiety, relationship issues and the correlation between chronic medical illness and mental health symptoms. With a Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling, I have also completed doctoral coursework in Health Psychology, with an emphasis on chronic illness and stress management.

Megan has been the exact right therapist I need at this time. She is understanding, supportive, and asks the questions that I don't ask myself so that I can fully see my patterns and/or give myself a break.
