About Me

It takes a lot of courage to reach out and ask for help. I want to be here to support and empower you on your journey

I am mental health therapist licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa with over 12 years of experience. I graduated from Winona State University with a Masters in Community Counseling and a minor in Chemical Dependency.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, LGBT/identity concerns, addictions, trauma, grief, and abuse. I have also worked with people through life transitions, whether that be from adjusting to life after college, or next steps after a divorce or significant life change.

I am a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator (CDWF) for Brene' Browns Daring Greatly and Rising Strong Curriculums, and have also received additional training in EMDR, Trauma based therapies, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Clinical Hypnosis, Dual Diagnosis and substance use treatment.

My approach to the therapy process is person centered and focused on people embracing their values, strengths, and choices for living wholeheartedly. I use a variety of motivational, cognitive behavioral, and mindful techniques to assist people in achieving their emotional, mental, physical, and relationship goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, fishing, canoeing, and being in nature with my husband and our dogs. I also enjoy traveling, exploring new cities, art and sculpture, and photography.

I don’t know her well but our first session was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend her as she is friendly and very good at listening as well as giving advice!
