About me

Hi there! I'm Megan. I have a Master's in Clinical Psychology and am licensed as a professional counselor. I am a huge brain nerd and love to share about how our mind, body, and heart all work together and sometimes can get stuck when things go awry.
I have training in several treatments specific to trauma including TF-CBT and EMDR as well as Bruce Perry's Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) which is focused on how adverse events can affect development leading to unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns in our work and relationships.
My philosophy is that I may be the expert in psychology but YOU are the expert in your life. Together we can make a great team focused on getting you to the healthiest you can be!
I graduated from University of Central Missouri with my bachelor of science in Psychology and from Sam Houston State University with my master's in Clinical Psychology. I currently live in Kansas City, Missouri.
