About me

Hello, and congratulations for taking the first steps in the bravest journey you will ever take. I am a licensed professional counselor in state of the Missouri and have been working with clients to better themselves for the past 6 years. I strongly believe in lifelong personal growth and the possibility of change. I enjoy helping individuals gain insight, movement, and empowerment through a supportive, warm, and collaborative therapeutic relationship. My overall style is genuine, dynamic, insightful, and encouraging. I create a safe and nurturing environment for each person that I work with by offering support, education, insight, and personal connection. Throughout the course of therapy, we will explore issues of most pressing concern as well as relevant past experiences. So often, past events and relationships can have a continuing effect on current life in ways such as unhealthy relationship patterns, self-destructive behaviors, distressing feelings, and or an overall sense of "feeling stuck". In my work, I emphasize helping individuals gain insight into these connections and begin a rewarding process of personal growth. I have a background of diverse clinical experience and currently work with a wide variety of concerns. My focus areas include helping individuals work through depression, past and or present traumatic experiences or events, major life changes, ongoing stress and anxiety, relationship issues, loss and grieving, as well as self-esteem and identity shifts.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Meggie (Meg) Springer. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I very much enjoy talking with Meg. Through the sessions I am able to put a different perspective on my situations at hand and talking about both recent and prior events helps me understand myself better.
I like having someone outside of my social environment of family and friends to regularly support me, while I organize my thoughts and feelings. But also to give me further food for thought on my own.
