About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Georgia and Alabama. I provide counseling services to deal with stress, anxiety, relationships, parenting, grief, depression, trauma, abuse, self esteem issues and substance abuse. I have been in the counseling profession for 7 years.

A little about myself personally, I reside in Tennessee and enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and camping. Of course being in the south, when the fall rolls around I will be taking in a game or two of college football.

Professionally, my counseling style is compassionate and person centered, typically using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). As a counselor I believe that the client is their own expert and the counselor is there to help clarify and guide the client to what they are seeking. As we move through the counseling process I want to learn about your goals and help you work towards achieving those goals at your own pace.

I believe in providing a safe, supportive and empathetic space to process and deal with life’s challenges. I am really glad that you are considering allowing me to join in and help on this journey. It takes courage to seek help and I’m looking forward to working with you on this journey.

Meghan is excellent at not only listening but posing questions in a way to make me reconsider other alternatives. She is the absolute best.

I enjoy working with Meghan very much. She asks great questions that make you search your soul for the truth. I really only wanted to pay for one month of counseling, but I am enjoying it so much that I think I will pay for at least one more month and see how things go!

Meghan has been very kind and helpful. She asks me the right questions I should be asking myself. I'm looking forward to more sessions with her.
