About me

My name is Meghan E. Farina, MA, LPC, NCC and I welcome you as you are! I am a licensed professional counselor with experience treating clients who are dealing with difficult life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, codependency, eating disorders, chronic pain, trauma, self esteem issues, and general stressors. I have experience and expertise in helping clients recover from narcissistic abuse and childhood trauma. My goal is to provide a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental space to support and empower individuals to overcome life’s challenges. I believe in an integrative approach to counseling to heal the mind, body, and soul.

My theoretical approach to counseling includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Person Centered Therapy. My therapeutic style involves a warm, honest, and collaborative relationship and meeting a client where they are.

I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. “One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means that you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart.” — Linda Poindexter
