About me

The ups and downs of life are what make it thrilling, keep us on our feet, and make it worth living. Yet sometimes these fluctuations become out of balance, a bit too much to deal with by oneself. And it is at this time that therapy can be very helpful in restoring that which has become out of control so you can continue living and loving the thrills of life. I have over 7 years of experience counseling people of all ages with a wide variety of issues including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, relationship issues, anger management, parenting problems, career challenges, and low self-esteem. I am also highly passionate about working with the LGBT population.

My counseling style is warm and supportive, using empathy and compassion to support you in your journey. My methods are holistic and client-centered. I greatly emphasize overall wellness and self-care and we will collaborate to develop a treatment plan that meets your unique needs. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

I know that making the decision to see a therapist can be overwhelming and taking the first steps can be daunting. But, I promise to support you and provide an environment free of judgment where you can feel comfortable to open up about anything you wish. Together we will tackle whatever is weighing you down to allow you to not only achieve your goals but to discover and fulfill your unique potential.
