I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington State. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, individual adults, and families. In addition to my private practice, I have worked in community mental health, and a shelter for women and children in crisis. I have also been a clinical supervisor in a local community mental health center. Currently, I am in private practice helping those with anxiety, depressive and adjustment challenges; among other issues.
My counseling style is interactive and engaging. I work from many different perspectives; depending on what each client needs. As I tailor a specific style ans treatment plan, I utilize concepts from solution focused, cognitive behavioral and narrative therapies; as well as incorporating humor and positive psychology when it fits the situation.
