About Me
We all have difficult times in our lives. And with help, we all have the ability to heal and become whole again. Loss comes in many forms, including loss of job, home, marriage, and the death of loved ones. I have deep experience and education helping individuals deal with the losses that life presents.
I am a Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in grief, dying, and life limiting illness. I earned an M.A. in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado and spent 9 years at Pikes Peak Hospice as a grief counselor. I approach each client and every counseling session with compassion, humility, and respect, using a number of theoretical and practical approaches and techniques. My primary theoretical approach is Client-Centered Therapy. My practice will provide you with an emotionally safe environment to give voice to your pain, at your pace, leading to healing and wholeness.
I have helped numerous people heal from the pain of loss and would love to help you as well.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Melba (Fran) Roberts. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Professional, challenges my thinking
Compassionate and knowledgeable
Melba was able to ask the right questions, very quickly. Questions that even family, friends or therapist never challenged. She is smart, spontaneous, listen to the smallest details, and makes you explore things you might never have been aware of.
