About Me

Thank you for viewing my page and for considering me as your mental health provider. It takes courage to seek help during difficult times. My name is Melica Wiley, and I am a licensed clinical marriage and family therapist (LCMFT). I have had the honor of working with diverse individuals, couples, and families over the last ten years. Clients have described me as warm, open, direct, and respectful.

I genuinely enjoy therapy and working with clients to meet their therapeutic goals. I have a keen interest in working with clients who may struggle with: depression, anxiety, couple/relational problems, military culture (deployment/transition), stress management, emotion awareness and regulation, and posttraumatic stress disorder (combat trauma, sexual trauma).

The treatment modalities I typically use in a session are acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused, and various research-based treatments for couples and families.

All in all, I view myself as a client-centered therapist. This means I truly focus on meeting my clients where they are emotionally and help them reach their desired goals. I look forward to working with you.

Ms. Wiley is someone who strives to listen and understand her clients, and has made me feel heard in ways I never could have imagined. She is kind, eager to help, and the utmost professional.

Melica and I talked only three times. In that short time she was able to give me multiple coping skills that I use almost everyday. Insightful, kind, and knowledgeable she is a great fit for anyone looking for insight.
