Melissa Dewlen

About Me

Hello! I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Washington, Colorado, and New Mexico. I have worked with many populations including children, adolescents, families, and individual adults. I have also worked in a variety of settings including agency/office, schools, and military installations.

I typically operate from the humanistic perspective in which I believe that you are the expert of you and that you already have the ability within you to overcome the most challenging times. I will be there to support you, remind you of your strengths, and ensure that you do not feel alone on your journey. Our relationship will be nonjudgmental, encouraging, and by believing in the power you have within you we will work together to determine what you wish to accomplish during our time. We don't need to have a set agenda and I will follow your experiences in each of our times together.

I look forward to hearing from you and being alongside you for your journey.

Very attentive and understanding. She really listens and tries to understand to the best of her ability. I’ve made great life progress since I’ve begun counseling with Ms Dewlen.
