About me

Hi! My name is Melissa, and I am a licensed clinician in Arizona and Massachusetts with 24 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, attention issues, trauma and abuse, eating disorders, coping with grief and loss, and depression. In addition, I am very knowledgeable about goal-setting and helping my clients be able to manage their symptoms through the use of coping strategies and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I believe strongly that counseling provides the empowerment, acknowledgement, and validation that is necessary to help process feelings and work through concerns. I would love to be the therapist to help you today. Please contact me if you feel my experience would be a good fit for you, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Melissa has been an amazing support as I manage my grief and new life experience after my husband's untimely death. Her approach is stellar and I really feel like I needed her to get through this.

Melissa is a well seasoned therapist who is clearly dedicated to her clients in the most professional and compassionate way. She has helped me learn a great deal about myself and how to navigate through some very tough family situations. I always felt supported, heard , and cared for during our sessions. Thank you, Melissa, for sharing your expertise with me, and I know you will continue to help others who are fortunate to meet with you!

Working with Melissa has been so incredibly helpful; it’s difficult for me to imagine how I could’ve navigated this past year without our weekly meetings. She’s deeply insightful, warm, and engaged, and I look forward to every session. I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a kind and sensitive listener with excellent advice.

We have just recently started working together but Melissa is supportive and I feel that we can create a great relationship to work through my troubles. She listens and offers advices and seems ready to jump right in even with the many things I have going on. She also makes herself available between sessions to offer support.

Melissa is a fantastic therapist! She is kind, thoughtful, and is great at connecting themes from our different sessions that I would have never thought to connect. She brings a fresh and healthy perspective to my problems and does a great job of balancing day-to-day problems with bigger underlying issues from the past. She is truly wonderful and I cannot recommend her enough!
