About me
Finding a therapist who is a good fit is not easy. For many people, I’m that “good fit.” This is because over all else, I value a nonjudgmental, client-centered approach, and I will offer you unconditional positive regard. We are all entitled to this.
I believe in a Motivational Interviewing approach to accompany the unconditional positive regard I can offer you. It’s my job as your therapist to help you guide yourself to the place that’s right for you, because YOU are the expert in YOU. I can offer advice on coping strategies, mindfulness, and guide you through cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques. I'm happy to be a sounding board when you seek guidance as well, and serve as a support person when you just need to vent.
Know that no matter what you have experienced, survived, what you have done, you are worthy, valuable, and important. I’m passionate about encouraging clients to discuss, and therefore neutralize, feelings of shame that can be pervasive and have a truly devastating impact on one’s life. You deserve it.

Melissa is a very encouraging and respectful therapist. The approach she takes when we talk allows me the opportunity to relax and open up very easily. She truly is the unbiased person I needed to help me through my journey. 10/10 for her help.

Muldoon is amazing at what she does. She never invalidates my feelings and truly tries to understand my point of view. She makes me feel comfortable and safe to talk about things I have never said outloud without feeling misunderstood.
