About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with over 13 years experiencing in providing mental health and behavioral counseling. I have been fortunate in gaining experience providing counseling to a diverse range of clients including children, adolescents, adults, families, and older adults. I have worked with individuals suffering from a multitude of emotional and social challenges however, I specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, and PTSD.

I have provided counseling in many different settings including nonprofit organizations, community based programs, public schools, healthcare agencies, medical groups, inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities and substance abuse facilities. I have an eclectic approach to counseling and utilize varying modalities according to each client’s individual needs and preferences. I am skilled in the application of cognitive behavioral approaches, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy, and rational emotive therapy.

My work addresses the psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of your struggles so that we may address the root causes that are creating distress. I am committed to supporting you in attaining your desired goals whether that be addressing mental health, exploring personality, attaining personal growth, or improving relationships with loved ones. I enjoy the process of therapeutic collaboration and working in concert with you to attain your desired outcomes through a warm and trusting therapeutic alliance.
