It takes a really strong person to seek out therapy. My name is Dr. Melissa Oleshansky. You can call me "Dr. O." I am a Fully Licensed Clinical Health Psychologist, Life Coach, and Certified and Registered Hatha Yoga Instructor in the state of Michigan. I have been practicing psychology and health promotion for over 20 years. I have earned a PhD in clinical health psychology and two Masters Degrees, one in clinical psychology and the other in educational psychology. I take a direct, pragmatic, and compassionate approach to therapy. I am a cognitive behavioral therapist and use a mindfulness based stress management approach to minimizing depression, coping with anxiety, managing disordered eating, chronic pain, addiction issues, relationship problems, and resolving self doubt.
