About Me

I look at counseling as a way for you to express what you have not been able to express to anyone else... without judgement and without blame. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from the Advanced Standing Master's level program at Fordham University. Having provided counseling for over ten years, it is my goal to work with each and every client on their own personal journey of self discovery. Everyone's closet contains different pieces of their skeleton(s). Together, through tele-therapy, we will explore and uncover what is preventing you from being a better you and thus, identify and work on steps towards positive changes. Its a journey that you deserve. You've waited this long. You deserve it and it would be my pleasure to take this journey with you as my approach is warm, down to earth, and interactive.

Melva is great at helping navigate and organize my thought process. She is easy to talk to and shows that our talks are free of judgements. Melva also introduced me to helpful webnars that helped navigate my current situation. Thank you Melva and Betterhelp!

Would 100% recommend Melva. She is a very understanding and caring person who listens to everything you say and gives feedback.
