About Me

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky. I have a master's degree from Bellevue University and have experience working in a variety of mental and behavioral health settings, including a residential treatment facility, inpatient psychiatric care as well as outpatient services. I have extensive experience working with clients who have experienced a myriad of symptoms, including significant physical, verbal and emotional trauma and abuse. I also have had the pleasure of supporting clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship/ family issues, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and PTSD, among other issues. Growing up internationally for some of my childhood has given me an acute sensitivity for multi-cultural and cross- cultural factors. I believe all clients deserve to be treated with dignity, compassion and genuine care.

Therapeutically, I want to help you to achieve your goals. I want to provide you with tangible tools, insights and strategies in order to make your goals achievable. I want to make you feel heard and supported. My therapy style and approach often combines Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Person-Centered and Family Systems counseling components. It is very important to me that we collaborate, and I will adjust and tailor my approach to your specific needs as we interact.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. You can do this. :)

Meredith really helped me to see the light in the darkness of uncertainty and anxiety during COVID-19. I had felt so lost and purposeless at the beginning of our sessions, I now feel grounded, confident and content again. She has given me tools and strategies that I can continue to apply throughout my life and I’ll be forever grateful for her kindness, compassion and help. Thank you so much Meredith!!

I've been working with Meredith for a few months and she is an incredible source of support for me. She always listens and gives helpful advice without giving me instructions and makes me feel valued and heard. I would recommend her to anyone.

She is very understanding and supportive. She has a direct, but pleasant way of helping you face/look at situations differently without making you feel stupid.

I am building up a good rapport with my counsellor Meredith, she listens to what I am saying and always responds promptly with positive comments and helpful feedback. Even though we have never met and live in different countries, I sort of feel like I know her!
