Meredith Holmes

About Me

Hello! I am Meredith, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Delaware. I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology with a concentration in Health Services from the University of Delaware and my Masters of Social Work degree from Widener University. In the past 5 years I have worked both as a Social Worker and an Outpatient Therapist at different facilities. I have also volunteered several years as a co-facilitator in a local support group focused on children who have experienced grief and loss. I have experience working with adults and adolescents individually, as well as their families. I supports clients who suffer from a wide range of mental health conditions such as, but not limited to: anxiety, phobias, depression, substance abuse, behavioral issues. and trauma. More of my most recent work has been with those experiencing Compassion Fatigue. With a combination of first hand experience and clinical knowledge, I can help navigate you through these difficult times. I won't promise it will be easy, but you won't go through this journey alone. Looking for help is the first step. My treatment approaches are tailored to each client’s situation and needs. While I don't work with one specific approach, I have found myself utilizing DBT skill sets, as well as CBT with most of my clients and have been successful.
