About me

Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to explore barriers to satisfaction and manage ongoing difficulties. Many people begin therapeutic work because they are ready to make a change, but do not know how or where to begin. While I treat a wide array of challenges, my specialties include relationship issues, life transitions, anxiety, loss, and mindfulness. Exploring the thoughts, emotions and behaviors that result from life's naturally occurring challenges and transitions can encourage self awareness and increased ability to achieve your goals.

Perhaps you have already explored your history's impact on your current level of functioning. Mindfulness practices emphasize the present moment to teach acceptance of thoughts and feelings without judgment. This allows you to become more connected to yourself and your environment, often resulting in the ability to see new solutions and gain new confidence.

Through empathic listening and supportive feedback, I utilize a strengths-based approach to create a safe environment that encourages the process of change. Therapy is a strong investment in self, and I encourage you to contact me with any questions or issues you might like to explore.
