About Me

Feel overwhelmed, sad, worried, angry, lonely, or confused? Do you feel disconnected or unsupported from your intimate relationships? Or are you contemplating a major life change yet feel unsure or fearful of the changes to come? If you are struggling with these feelings, you are not alone. Good news is a warm and trusting therapeutic relationship can lead to personal discoveries, personal growth and profound healing. I will listen attentively, provide compassionate support and together we can identify your strengths and build upon them to develop strategies to live a more meaningful life.
If you’ve ever felt or are currently dealing with these issues I’d love to help you find hope and work towards building confidence to help you thrive and live well with counseling .

I believe that healing happens in relationships, and I’ll listen attentively and hold a caring space for you as you share from your heart. Therapy sessions are a time to focus solely on you and express anything and everything that is causing feelings of frustration, uncertainty, fear, anxiety, sadness, anger, grief or discomfort of any kind. As we get to the underbelly of your distress and you put feelings into words, we can talk things out, piece things together and figure out ways that you can let go of the past, feel content in the present and experience more joy.

I look forward to working with you.

I could not have asked or been matched with a better counselor than Mia Hargrove. She is always there to listen to all my problems. She offers me different scenarios that I can apply in my daily life to cope with certain situations or certain people. Mia's great advice has helped me improve my relationship with my daughter and with my sister. I thank Mia for helping restore my confidence. I am a lot more happier now than I was when I first started. Thank you Mia for all the wonderfulness you have helped me bring into my life.

I’ve met with numerous counselors in the past few years. I’ve always thought that it takes time to connect with someone. However, Mia has a way with providing comfort & making me feel understood immediately. I am so lucky to have been paired with her!
