I began my career in an alcohol and drug treatment center in 1996. Since then I have worked with individuals with addiction, mental health, and co-occurring diagnoses in almost every level of care available, including acute hospitalization, detoxification/withdrawal management, short-term residential treatment, day treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, and outpatient services. I lean heavily toward Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but am well rounded. I work with my clients within their personal belief systems without imposing mine on them.
As a person, I am patient, compassionate, and positive. I believe in the ability to change, over come adversity, and and reach new personal heights.

Michael is a an amazingly patient and kind person. He has a good sense of humour and doesn't force conversation, which in turn makes it easier to talk with him.
I am new to therapy and recommend it entirely. Michael has been instrumental, kind, and professional in helping me make sense and learn from a series of powerful events I recently went through. I look forward to our sessions and the many creative ways Michael has of illustrating big take aways.
He’s great and has a lot of support for me
So far so good. Thanks
Michael is great! I tried Better Help earlier this year and my therapist wasn’t very communicative. I decided to try again and am so glad I got paired with Michael! He asks a lot of questions to get a better understanding of who I am and what I need. I am excited to continue therapy with him!
Michael is a very charismatic person and a good listener. He always have good advice and a way of putting things into perspective.
Michael Leach was quick to identify what I am looking for out of therapy. For me personally, his casual, conversational approach has helped me feel comfortable talking through problems. I like that he leaves me with something to think about between sessions. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking therapy.
