Michael "Mike" Schachtner, LCSW
About me
A wide array of experiences has helped Mike to be open-minded to many walks of life. As a professional basketball player for five years in Europe, Mike was exposed to many different cultures and mindsets. He believes everyone has a unique story and a unique past that shapes their present. Mike can especially relate to feeling the need to always perform at a high level in life. Playing basketball has also given him a mindset of teamwork. Mike wants to approach the counseling sessions together as a collaboration – working together as a team. He sees his role as guiding you toward growth, hope, and healing.
