About Me

Hello! I am a licensed Profession Counselor in Wisconsin. Therapy is an overwhelming step to take when you are struggling, but a necessary and powerful one. My job as your therapist is to help guide you on this journey to a healthy and happier life. I will teach you skills to help you learn how to better manage your emotions and create healthier relationships in your life. I will create a safe and fun environment while we work through your process together.

I am trained to help those who have experienced trauma, suffer depression, anxiety and OCD. I also have experience with grief, motivation, self-esteem issues. I worked in a non profit Hospital, where I helped facilitate groups with a variety of age groups from, 11-75 year old's. I pride myself on helping people work through navigate hurdles such as: social struggles, anxieties, depression, peer pressure, insecurities and most importantly we helped strengthen the child/parent relationship.

We are all so different and have different learning styles, therapy is not a one size fits all experience. In my 4 years of experience working in higher levels of care, I have accumulated many different therapeutic techniques that will be offered during your time in therapy, to see which approach will fit you best. My approach can vary between, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Art Therapy, and Trauma focused treatment modalities..

Michelle is very understanding and speaks to me like a friend. It's very easy to open up to her. I highly recommend trying her!

I’ve spent many years in therapy, counseling and pursuing self- development. The talk-therapy that I have had has mostly been disappointing. I’m so grateful that my sessions with Michelle have proven to be just the opposite. She is insightful, practical, warm and funny. She has been really helpful to me in a very short amount of time!

Michelle has been monumental in my recovery from my breakup. In a way, she definitely sped up my recovery process which has been something that I've had difficulty dealing with before. Thanks to her, I'm more confident in how I approach life now and empathetic to the feelings of others- even those who have hurt me.
