Hello, My name is Michelle. Therapy at its basic is a safe, nonjudgmental relationship where you are able to explore barriers to growth and personal change. My role as your therapist is to listen to your story, help you define your goals, and work collaboratively with you to develop creative approaches to achieve them. I have 20 years of experience working with adults and adolescents who are dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harming, eating disorders, stress management, medical issues, relationship problems, and life transitions. These years of practice allow me to tailor my approach to the specific issue you bring to therapy.
Additional areas of focus: LGBT, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Self esteem, Blended Family Issues, Self-Harm, Young Adult Issues

Very good listener, gave me great feedback and responses to various situations I was going through. Was super responsive too!

Michelle is excellent. Empathetic, understanding, and also solutions oriented, as in “if this is what is, how will you manage what is?”

I’m always hesitant in talking with someone new, but Michelle has made me feel comfortable and asks the right questions to get me out of my head. I appreciate her input and support and look forward to more sessions with her.
