Hello! Am I The Right Therapist For You?
* I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Advanced Grief Specialist.
*I'm a 40-something year old woman who works with WOMEN ONLY who are 21 and older.
*I would describe myself as very laid back and my approach is person-centered, meaning I work with the client via talk-therapy and empower the client to reach their own conclusion (and yes, I will provide feedback and support).
*My primary goal is to develop a therapeutic relationship/rapport and make sure that each woman who comes to me feels safe and accepted by me.
*My approach is not homework-heavy.
*I work with women struggling with anxiety, grief, self-esteem, and depression.
*I provide video and live chat sessions only (no phone calls).
*I am happy and able to work with any woman regardless of her race, religion, sexual orientation, background, walk of life, etc. I just require that she love dogs. (Okay, kidding...just checking if you're paying attention...I do, however, love dogs)
***I cannot provide therapy to those whose primary concerns include:
Again, I am very laid back and open to answering any questions you might have about me or this process. I don't want to write too much here about myself because it's easy to get bored and check out when intros get too wordy. SO...If you are an adult woman who is struggling with anxiety, grief, depression, self-esteem and you feel like I might be what you're looking for as a therapist, please check out my schedule and pick a day/time that works for your schedule so we can chat!

Michelle is the real deal. She helped me through some milestones and growing pains and I couldn't recommend her more to anyone looking for an honest, experienced, and reliable therapist.

She's the best! I know that she'll never make me feel badly about anything I can't control and she always genuinely listens, even when I'm being silly. She's also figured out largely when I need someone to push me and when I want to leave a topic alone. She never judges me and I really appreciate her!

I had been struggling with anxiety for a few months leading up to BetterHelp and in only 4 weeks Michelle has been able to help me not only ease the anxiety I was experiencing but also understand and overcome it in ways I haven’t been able to before. Highly recommend her.
