Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a licensed therapist and have worked as a social worker with people who have acute and chronic illnesses and disablities. I've worked with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, caregiver stress, coping with illness and facing major life transitions. I graduated from the University of Michigan School of Social Work with a certificate in Gerontology. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR and use these approaches when working with clients.
When working with clients, I strive to create a safe, friendly and non-judgemental space where clients can explore and work towards their goals. Deciding to seek therapy can be a tough choice and well worth it in bringing more awareness and balance. I work to create space for you explore, develop resources and work through difficult life events. If you think I could be of support to you I am happy to hear from you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Michelle McGrath. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Michelle continues to be the best therapist I've had, and I've had a few over the years. She is a great listener, has excellent tuition, and helps me connect the dots. I have learned many new skills and tools to manage depression and anxiety, and to approach life in a way that brings satisfaction and peace.
Knowledgeable, attentive, warm, and patient. I would recommend Michelle to anyone looking for extra support.
