About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 8 years of counseling experience. I have extensive experience in providing assessment, clinical intervention, and consultation to a variety of populations. I have worked closely with each client to assure that receives the best possible care regardless of their age, sex, race, or religion. I have also provided therapeutic services for clients suffering from a gamut of defined disorders (i.e. depression and related suicidal or homicidal ideation, anxiety, schizophrenia, autism, adjustment and personality disorders) and helped individuals work through other stressors. I am confident that the knowledge that I have acquired during my post-graduate years, in combination with the education and specialty training I received has left me well-equipped to take on the challenges that accompany working to ensure that every person receives the best mental health care services available.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, techniques of dialectic behavioral counseling. I will craft your treatment plan based on your concerns. This is a major step for you and I want to assure you that your needs are of the utmost importance. I consider the counseling relationship a team effort.

I look forward to working with you.

Michelle has been an incredible teammate so far. She actively listens, is non-judgemental, and knows when to challenge me. I am so appreciative of her support and her responsiveness to my needs. By no means am I near my end goal, but for the first time in a long time I am hopeful that I will get there with Michelle as my teammate.
