About Me

I am an LCSW and have been working in behavioral health for 16 years and have been a therapist for the last 7. I have worked exclusively with adults in a community setting and have experience in most aspects of life. My focus has been on helping individuals with trauma, I am certified in EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT and have years of experience with DBT. Helping others is my passion in life and have known that i wanted to help others for as long as i can remember.

My style and approach is warm and I seek to help you find your strengths and your best self. I like to push when needed and have been told I can be tough but in a positive way. I know how difficult it is to ask for help sometimes and I applaud your courage. I look forward to meeting you and helping you set and meet your goals with compassion through empowering you to follow your correct path.

Michelle has been great. I feel like the counseling has been very tailored to my needs. I've been able to reach out when I need to and when I'm bad about staying in touch, Michelle gives me a little nudge, which is what I sometimes need. The back and forth between Michelle and me has helped me gain a lot of clarity that I needed, which has ultimately led to my greater happiness.
